  • A $100 deposit by mail is requested for reservations. We make every effort to accomodate last minute trips without reservations pending availability. Balance in full on all trips is due the day of departure. In order to keep your costs down, we only accept cash, check, or travelers check. Please, No credit cards.

  • Please make your deposit and any other checks payable to Capt. Miles Schlichte

  • Your deposit is fully refundable if your trip is cancelled due to weather. Weather cancellations are mutually agreed upon after discussing available options with the customer.

  • * Starting in May of 2006 Our exclusive "Catch Nothing-Pay Nothing" guarantee NOW APPLIES TO BOTH FULL AND HALF DAY CHARTERS.  (My wife says I'm taking this personal challenge thing way too far!)

  • Please be very careful with our rods. Should you drop one overboard you will be expected to replace it at a cost of $200.00

  • We enforce the USCG zero tolerance for drugs. We also ask that you not bring hard liquor. Beer and wine in moderation is fine. Water and Soda are provided free of charge.

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. It is always cooler on the water; especially in the early morning. Clothing can be layered off as the day warms. Sun block, hats, sunglasses and a camera are also essential.

  • Please help us keep our boats clean by not wearing black soled shoes if at all possible.

  • Please do not bring any hardsided coolers. Any food or drinks that you bring will be transferred into the boat's coolers and soft sided coolers or carry bags can be folded up and stored out of the way. I don't want you to lose that record fish or have to replace a rod because you tripped over your buddy's beer cooler!

  • All rods and tackle are included. Since the gear is customized to be the best match for the boat and the species I ask that you please don't bring your own gear .

  • Free digital photos of your trip will be emailed to your home computer if you provide the captain with an email address.

  • Tipping is appreciated. However, your tip is subjective and should be based on the efforts of the Captain and the quality of your experience.

  • Directions: We leave from the new public landing located behind Gloucester High School on the Annisquam River. To get there take Route 128 North until you cross over the Annisquam River on the A. Piatt Andrew Bridge. Continue along until you descend into the Grant Circle rotary. Take your first right onto Washington Street.  Friendly's Plaza will be on your right. Take your fifth right onto Centennial Avenue. Take your third right onto Blyman Avenue which will drop you into the High School parking lot.  Go around the right side of the school past the tennis courts and you will see the ramp. Captain Miles will either be with the boat trailer waiting to launch or already tied to the floats. You will recognize the boat from our home page. Just wave Captain Miles down. Plenty of free parking is available anywhere that is not reserved for a boat trailer. You will be ticketed if you park in a space marked "boat trailer parking only". Travel time is approximately 45 minutes from Boston. Please call Captain Miles's cell # (978-836-8016) if you are delayed.

  • All trips can be customized to fit your needs and interests. The more you ask us, the better your experience will suit you.
